I had a satisfying stay with a clean room and comfortable beds, and I appreciated the friendly and attentive staff throughout my visit, which made it easier to explore the nearby Myrtle Hill Cemetery and the Downtown Heritage Trail System within a few minutes' walk.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made checking in a pleasant experience. The location was convenient for attending events, and the room was comfortable with adequate amenities. However, the breakfast was severely lacking due to staffing issues, leaving little to choose from during the busy morning. This unfortunately affected the overall experience, especially on such a high-traffic weekend.

Upon arrival, we encountered issues with a busted shower floor that had multiple holes, creating a hazard. During our stay, young adults were yelling in the halls late into the night, which made it challenging to sleep, especially since we needed to wake up early for work. Additionally, the room seemed outdated for the rate we paid, feeling more like a lower tier accommodation despite the premium price, particularly during a high-demand time due to a local mill shutdown.

Unfortunately, the staff was short-handed during our visit. One lady was juggling multiple jobs, which was evident. Breakfast options ran out quickly by 8:45 a.m., leaving us disappointed. I could see she was overwhelmed, trying to manage everything, especially on such a busy weekend. The hotel itself was clean, but the breakfast situation could use more attention, especially on peak days.
